Below are our congregational announcements for the week of April 25th – May 2nd.
Calvin Crafters – Sat. May 3rd: (New) Just a reminder that the Calvin Crafters will be meeting on Sat. May 3rd @ 1-3 p.m. to enjoy a time of crafting and fellowship together. So whether you knit, crochet, sew, or do any other sort of craft you’re invited to bring your current project and join us. All are welcome!
First of the Month Fellowship Luncheon – Sun. May 4th: (New) Just a reminder that Sun. May 4th will be the first Sunday of the month, and that on the first Sunday of the month we invite everyone to bring potluck goodies to share during our time of fellowship downstairs following the worship service.
Hymn Sing – Sun. May 4th: (New) Come join us for our monthly Congregational Hymn Sing, which will take place again this Sun May 4th, just prior to worship beginning at @ 10:45 a.m. Come early and enjoy singing some of your favourite hymns to God’s praise!
Worship and Congregational Life Team: The Worship and Congregational Life Team will have an in-person meeting May 4th after church in the chancel.
Men’s Breakfast – May 10th: (New) A men’s breakfast has been planned for Sat. May 10th, @ 9:00 a.m. at the I.H.O.P at 80 Hogan Ct, Bedford. To help ensure enough seating is reserved, those interested in attending are asked to sign-up, on the sign-up sheet located on the table outside the sanctuary. Our organizer, Don Ambler, is hoping to connect with previous attenders via email with reminders. So…if you get an email from aquashed@eastlink.ca don’t be alarmed, it’s only Don!
Funeral of Riet Vink: (New) In light of the large gap between the passing of our sister Riet, just a reminder that her visitation (12:00-12:50pm) and funeral service (1:00pm) will take place here on May 10th.
Rightnow MEDIA is HERE!: Calvin’s 1-year subscription to ‘Rightnow MEDIA’ has begun! The goal is to try to provide increased opportunity for all of us to explore and to deepen our faith journey with God. As a part of Calvin’s 1-year subscription, those who have agreed to, should have received an email invite from ‘rightnow MEDIA’ to set up their own free access to the site and its resources as a part of our congregation.

We are currently in the process of testing a new system for communicating church events and announcements, as well as generally updating the website’s features and content. Instead of the list of repeated announcements and contact information, for instance, the links below contain the same (and extra!) information. Like it? Dislike it? Have some suggestions?
