Meet online for worship on ZOOM instead.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Previously, we had announced plans to hold an in-person service of worship tomorrow morning, Sun. Dec. 19 @ 11:00 a.m. Additionally, this was to include celebrating the sacrament of Holy Communion.

However, the recent rise in the number of COVID-19 cases has created concern amongst our membership to the point of some cancelling their pre-booked seating for tomorrow’s service.

In light of this, and coupled with tomorrow’s weather forecast calling for snow throughout the morning, the Session believes the wisest course of action is to CANCEL tomorrow’s in-person worship service at the church, and for us to meet online for worship on ZOOM instead.

We realize this is less than an ideal situation. And with such short notice we will NOT be live-streaming from the church on Facebook, nor will a pre-recorded service be available later on.  As a result of this the Session and our worship leaders will be actively reassessing our plans for Christmas Eve worship, and will continue to keep the congregation informed as to any changes that might arise. (So please watch for an additional email early in the coming week)

We apologize for this short notice, and for any inconvenience this may cause.

However we do pray you will make plans to join us online tomorrow on ZOOM at 11:00 a.m. for worship. (see the link below)

PLEASE NOTE: during our ZOOM service we will still be celebrating Communion, and those logging on are asked to have prepared their own elements in advance, and to have them ready during the time of worship in preparation for sharing the Lord’s Supper.
